Fairview Mortgages Cruise Giveaway – Terms and Conditions

Contest End Date: March 31, 2026
By entering the Fairview Mortgages Cruise Giveaway (“Contest”), participants agree to be
bound by the following Terms and Conditions.
1. Sponsor
The Contest is organized and sponsored by Fairview Mortgages (“Sponsor,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, any cruise line or third-party platform.
2. Eligibility
Open to legal residents of New Brunswick who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
Employees, agents, and representatives of Fairview Mortgages, its affiliated companies, and their immediate family members or persons living in the same household are not eligible to win.
No purchase, mortgage approval, or financial commitment is required to enter or win.
3. How to Enter
Participants may enter the Contest in one of the following ways:
a) Application Entry
Receive one (1) entry by completing and submitting a Contest Entry Form through Fairview Mortgages during the Contest Period.
b) Referral Entry
Participants will receive one (1) entry for each referral (“Referred Party”) who completes and submits a Contest Entry Form through Fairview Mortgages during the Contest Period.
The referral entry must include the referrer’s full name and contact information at the time of submission (or via an approved referral form), as well as the Referred Party’s contact information. By providing this information, referrers confirm that they have the Referred Party’s authorization to share their contact details with Fairview mortgages in the context of this contest.
There is no limit to the number of referrals a participant may submit.
Referral is optional and not a condition of entry into the Contest. Any participant may enter the Contest by completing a ballot and agreeing to the Contest Terms and Conditions.
4. Contest Period
The Contest begins on October 1, 2025, at 12:00 AM ADT and ends on March 31, 2026, at 11:59 PM ADT. All eligible entries must be received within this period.
5. Prize
Grand Prize:
A cruise for two (2), including:
Round-trip cruise fare for two people
Accommodation in a standard cabin
Cruise provider selected by Fairview Mortgages
Fairview Mortgages will contribute up to $5,000 CAD toward the cost of the cruise. If the winner selects a cruise valued above $5,000, the winner will be responsible for covering the additional cost.
Fairview Mortgages is not responsible for any cancellations, delays, or technical issues caused by the cruise provider.
Prize Conditions:
The winner has 12 months from the date of notification to book the trip. Travel must begin before the end of this 12-month period.
The prize does not include transportation to/from the cruise port, passports, visas, travel insurance, personal expenses, port fees, gratuities, or other incidental costs.
The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and has no cash value. It cannot be exchanged for cash or substituted for other goods or services.
All travel is subject to availability, blackout dates, and the terms and conditions of the cruise provider.
6. Winner Selection and Notification
One (1) winner will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period.
The draw will take place on or about April 1, 2026, at 4:00 PM ADT.
The selected winner will be contacted by email and/or phone within 5 business days of the draw.
To claim the prize, the selected entrant must:
Respond within 7 calendar days of notification.
Correctly answer a skill-testing question.
Complete and return a Declaration of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release.
All information provided by applicants must be truthful and accurate.
If the selected entrant fails to meet these requirements, an alternate winner may be chosen.
7. General Rules
Limit: One (1) entry per person for an application entry. Referral entries are unlimited.
Fairview Mortgages reserves the right to verify entries and disqualify any person who tampers with the entry process or violates these Terms.
The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
Fairview Mortgages reserves the right to substitute the prize with one of equal or greater value if necessary.
8. Limitation of Liability
Fairview Mortgages is not responsible for:
Lost, late, incomplete, or misdirected entries
Technical errors affecting entry submission or winner selection
Any injury, loss, or damage related to participation in the Contest or the use of the prize
9. Privacy
By entering the Contest, participants consent to Fairview Mortgages collecting, storing, and using their personal information for the purpose of administering this Contest and for future communications, including marketing and promotional outreach, in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Personal information will not be shared with third parties except as required by law or as necessary to administer the Contest. Participants may withdraw their consent at any time by contacting Fairview Mortgages, subject to legal or contractual restrictions.
10. Governing Law
This Contest is governed by the laws of the Province of New Brunswick and the applicable federal laws of Canada. Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts of New Brunswick.
11. Consent
By checking the Terms and Conditions box on the Contest Entry Form, participants expressly:
Consent to Fairview Mortgages contacting them regarding the Contest and for future marketing, promotional, and business communications.
Consent to Fairview Mortgages securely storing their information for future reference and follow-up, including sales-related outreach.
Confirm that they have read and agree to the Fairview Mortgages Privacy Policy.
Confirm that they have the proper authorization to share the referred party’s information contained in the entry form, and that Fairview Mortgages is authorized to contact the referred party.
